Spectacular T-shirts for Mom

Mother's Day will be celebrated this year on May 08, 2011. Mother's Day is a great time to let your mom, grandma, or another person who acts as your mother figure know that you appreciate her, think the world of her, and love her. Whether you celebrate the day together over dinner or you just give her a quick call to let her know you are thinking of her, it will let her know she's special.
Children love to give mom flowers on this day, whether they are picked, store bought, or made of tissue paper and pipe cleaners. They love to make her breakfast in bed, and are so proud to have done this act of kindness for mommy. A paper card with "MOM" written out in crayon and a stick figure mom becomes a treasured work of art that Mom will keep forever.

New Designs at Toddler's Place

If you've visited my Toddler's Place store in recent weeks you might have noticed that some sections are empty. That's because I'm revamping the entire store and at the present time I have many sections created for designs that I haven't yet added products for. I hope to have this store completed by mid July. In the process, I have added a lot of new designs in various categories including sports, miscellaneous, music, girl stuff, and animals. If you haven't visited our Toddler's Place store lately, check out some of the new kids, baby, and toddler T-shirts, bodysuits, tote bags, cards, stickers, magnets, and other items! You can find many of our designs are suitable for adults too, so we've added plenty of adult size t-shirts, hoodies, and sweatshirts to our store as well. It's only July, but certainly not too early to start thinking about cute back to school T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, and school tote bags. We also have a lot of cute and colorful summer, surfing, and beach T-shirts and bags!

Super Grandkids

My grandkids are super! I had the pleasure of spending time with them last night, making paper valentines with construction paper, foam hearts, glittery hearts, heart stickers, doilies, glue, and ribbon. My grandson who I happen to think is a pretty super kid (see attached photo of a T-shirt I recently bought him to let him know that!) was tickled pink when I made a lilac valentine with little paper pinwheels and lots of glittery glue attached and gave it to him. He smiled hugely and said "Wow, thank you Grandma! That's really awesome!". Such a simple thing and it made him so happy. He busied himself painting cardboard valentine ornaments for his teachers and lots of paper and foam heart valentines. My granddaughter with the help of mommy made a beautiful butterfly valentine with heart wings and a pink body to attach them. Then we called for pizza and all had a pizza party together. I drove home later that evening after they were tucked into bed, thinking what super grandkids I have and how blessed I am.
