Did you know that today, October 18th, is National Chocolate Cupcake Day? I didn't even know there was such a day but once I knew, it sounded indeed like a day that should be celebrated. After all, who doesn't love chocolate cupcakes? I was excited to think that a special day was set aside in observance of chocolate cupcakes, that is, until I realized there is also, according to American Food Holidays, a National Waffle Day, National Strawberry Sundae Day, National Sugar Cookie Day, and many more. Still...we are talking cupcakes, and not just any cupcakes, but chocolate cupcakes!
